Salary Dilemma

April 17, 2011 – 9:12 am

The govt should look into how much salary is a person taking back home after all deductions. Looking at the size of the family and the amount taken back should be reasonable as otherwise, insufficient salary brought home leave family members hungry.

As I ‘m working in a firm where a few local girls work too not suspecting their suffering I asked her to share her lunch with me as I forgot to bring my wallet. My request to my surprise brought tears to her eyes.

When she finally opened her lunch-box, it was shocking to see that lunch was just plain rice with ketchup. No egg, no vege, just no nothing else at all.

When she saw me looking so surpirsed, she went on to explain that by giving loans to low income salary earner the Govt is giving death to the young children in such sitiuations. Since she has just started work, he father’s salary after all deductions only come home with $300 and there are total 10 ppl. to feed at home. Such huge families should have at least $800 to take home.

I could not eat or sleep after seeing the suffering of the young girl and what about her younger sibblings?the empty stomachs???leading to health complications due to lack of nutrients & etc.

Something should be done by the govt. or certain govt. bodies to ensure that families do not suffer. Though loans are taken by individuals subject to their own needs but if giving additional loans leaves a person with so little money to take home to feed 10 persons for 1 month, it is impossible to imagine how to survive. Not only food but what about other expenses throughout the month. $300 is just nothing for such a huge family.

  5. im agree with u guys statemnt.i was almost in tears, i understand the situation.. macam macam sudah peningkatan masa ani peningkatan kad kredit, peningkatan pembayaran loan, peningkatan pembayaran kereta. sedangkan kalau difikirkan banar2 makin tah belarutan gali lubang tutup lubang.motif sebenar kan mengelakan hutang rakyat dari tertangguh kah apa tetapi cuba lihat apa yang terjadi sekarang?menyeksa.. they are struggling or even pegawai kerajaan pun merasa susahnya jua..yang kaya pandang ke langit inda pernah lagi pandang ke bumi.yang pandang ke bumi makin hilang semangat, murung, dan sebagainya.
cubatah direvise balik bah hal hal cemani,
ani credit kad pun dinaikan 8 peratus pembayaran.. duit belanja makin kurang pembagi keluarga indung lagi apa.tepaksa jua di gali balik tu duti atu dari kredit kad.sama jua ceritanya.,…
logik atau inda.. aku sendiri kalau a\familyku beguna usin, tepaksa ku keluarkan cash advanced yang putungannya 8 peratus atu.and as well as one of the bank jua ada offer loan yang mcm credit card ane.. interestnya 10.25% imagine kalau 30 ribu berapa tu mbayr. abis kurang $600 kemudian tulak balik interest is somewhere around $200. ertinya batah kan kurang..bunganya ani telampau mahal..patut di liat balik nie hal cemani ani.bank makan darah masa ane..pasal apa nah?sapakan disalahkan ne? tepuk dada tanya selera.yang makan lada ia terasa pedasnya. tolongth revise balik kadar faedah ani sama kadar minimum payment jua.please jgn menyeksa rakyat
