Recently one of my aunties, in her late 70s, came to visit Brunei from our neighbouring country. As she is old, she requires a number of medications, such as insulin, a number of oral prescriptions and some herbs in the form of a thick paste (NOT LIQUID). This she has to take around as they are essential for her health. Unfortunately, as she was leaving Brunei, at the final airport security screening point, the officer in-charge rudely refused her to bring along her herbal paste, which is not in a liquid form, as well questioned her about the insulin. The old lady officer was very rude and bossy, not even polite in the slightest, as my aunty is a foreigner, she treated my aunty very rudely and harshly. This old officer has no sense of respect for senior citizens. My brother, who was accompanying her, called me in desperation for help. ......
