Where To Sell Brunei Gold Coin?

August 30, 2012 – 10:27 am

How to sell Brunei Gold Coin? I need help from Brudirect readers to sell my coin. Any names and contact details of dealers of Brunei coins in Brunei/Singapre/Malaysia?

Brunei Govt issued Gold and Silver coins commemorating the Coronation of His Majesty, I think in 1979.

Each Gold coin was sold for B$1,600 by Brunei Treasury in 1979

I bought one and am still keeping it and I am unable to find good buyers.

If I sell it, even as raw gold (NOT AS A RARE MODERN COIN) may be, I can get B$3,500
I stand to be corrected.

Readers can make their own calculations. Ask in a jeweller’s shop in BSB, the price of one gram of gold and multiply it by 50. Brunei coin weighs 50 grams of fine 999 gold.

Minted by Scotland Royal Mint, weighing 50 grams of fine gold
Occasion. : Tenth Anniversary of Coronation of His Majesty the Sultan of Brunei
Limited edition only 1000 were issued.
The coin is modern but rare
Legal Proof coins;

Silver coins were also issued at the same time, weighing 50 grams.
I have two silver coins.

  9. The information given on the following link is half-hearted and lacks details about the 10th Coronation Anniversary Coins

  10. WHY ARE MUSLIMS TOO FUSSY ABOUT THE PORNOGRAPHIC FILM ON RASOOLULLAH SAW

Read the history of how the thousands of British and Indian troops were trapped in Afghanistan and were slaughtered in 18th century.

Was it right or wrong is entirely a different story.

Not every adherent of religion is God-conscious as MUTTAQEEN.

No Americans or Muslims want these killings to be done in present day Afghanistan or Muslim lands in the Middle East or Indonesia or the Indian sub-continent due to the mad behaviour of a pornographic film on Muhammad the prophet or one of the American Christian priests claiming his RIGHT to insult and burn the Quran

Would any of us say that this sort of freedom protecting a crazy individual producing a sex filthy film or burning the Quran under the pretext of freedom of expression is more important even if say some 20,000 American troops are going to be butchered by the Afghan tribes.

And of course a million innocent Afghans may die of aerial bomb attacks by americans?

We have to use practical common sense judgments in dealing with situations.

We can not blindly stick to West’s constitutional amendments and the so called “stupidity” of blasphemy

After all these amendments are meant to make people happy and peaceful, they are not impossible laws of nature that can never be altered.

We have to get rid off our one track mind and think practically to bring peace to all

Life is more precious than a pornographic movie.
