Let me first say that I am a young Bruneian woman and proud. I'm unemployed, but not ashamed. I'm one of at least eight young women who was sacked from my job at the airport, supposedly for theft. I'm not a thief nor were all the other young women sacked. There is a belief that young Bruneians simply will not work, that they display no work ethic. I personally loved my job at the airport selling beautiful perfume giftware and thought I did the right thing. I will not name my employers, its not the right thing to do. To blame us for theft is also not the right thing to do. Just because the owners are so called "well respected" we cannot complain to anyone. The foreign owners were very nice and looked after us. I now understand that many, many $000's of stock is missing and that they believe ......

As a Permanent Resident of Brunei of nearly 30 years, I would like to thank the Department of Economic Planning and Development (JPKE), Prime Minister's Office, for introducing a new scheme that gives private sector employees the same opportunities employees in the public sector have in developing themselves in order to become more competitive, professional and marketable. In the past, there were a lot of privileges that were meant just for citizens - from scholarships to overseas trainings to housing and travelling allowances. But now, things are starting to look up for us PRs (Permanent Residents) - from the abolishment of multiple entry visas into Brunei and the new scheme provided by JPKE. It is safe to say that PRs now have a deeper feeling of belonging to the nation. Once again, I would like to take this opportunity to thank the relevant authorities for making these improvements. However, I must point out ......

salam my father recently told me that we got rejected from accepting the governtment housing scheme because my mother had a piece of land. i know the requirement states that, one should not own a house or a land. but we have been waiting for more than 15 years to get a house and the government just rejected our request in a day? why cant they consider the the family's well being? my parents tried building a house on that land, but it just so happens that their salary combined together were not enough. they can build one, but with what money are they going to use to feed us every month? all i am saying is that, why cant the government check the family's financial status? a lot of people got more than one house and where's the justice in that? i am very, very disappointed. my dad is in his ......

It is really sad to hear the death of the two cute girls. It was all because this bad-tempered lady was in a hurry to leave for her open house gathering, and she planned to left school during school hours without permission. To make things worst, she didn't even want to admit her fault. Instead she blamed the girls for the accident. How heartless!!! Until now she still does not want to admit her fault. Perhaps one day when she is a mother then she will know! Amin!! ...

Alhamdulilah. We've survived half of the Ramadhan by going to campus early in the morning - and fasting, circling the parking place like vultures for hours before going in to the class - and fasting, walking in the heat of the sun - and fasting, coming home late after a tense discussion with the group regarding the progression of our assignment - and fasting...So it is a fasting month, where our Iman is to be tested. What's the big deal? What I am about to write is nothing new. I doubt that action is going to be taken after this and it's just going to fade like any other "student-complain" news to oblivion. But we are taught to never give up in campus and so, regardless of the consequences from the heat of our hearts, we're just going to share about this same-old-story. You see, some of us are not as lucky ......

Regarding maid agent that lied to almost 80% of bruneian.. which most of them are part-timer.. i suggest, to AVOID PPL ARE BEING CHEATED AGAIN, GOVERNMENT ESTABLISH A "PUSAT AMAH/ MAID CENTRE" what is that? It is a ctr which is under government to bring indon/phillipino/vietnam islam / non-muslim to brunei. To be trained as a maid and nanny. what is the idea? it is a RELIEF if there is a centre which will bring foreigner to brunei for this purpose.. NO bruneian will want to work as a Maid with the salary of $200 TRUST ME. then, once they're here, they'll be trained..n offered to be lend/use for temporary such as 3days/1 week with a proper agreement which will not against brunei law but with payment of course to pay their salary of $200 per month and the rest is the ctr's profit. OR they'll be adverted to be ready to be employed by bruneian or any1 ......

I recently heard of how a local employee was caught stealing from the local "BIG" company she works at. Instead of lodging a police report and letting the proper authorities deal with her CRIME, the management saw fit to come to a settlement, whereby her salary get's deducted to pay off the money she stole... 8-/ Don't you think it's STUPID to allow a known unrepentant THIEF to continue work for you?? Furthermore, in effect, she basically got a "personal loan approved" without having to go through the usual banking procedures and charges...AND IS STILL GAINFULLY EMPLOYED!! >.< Where has good sense fled?? So do please learn from the folly of the "BIG" company as I believe one way or another, they're now paying for their stupidity... ...

I dream that I went to Heaven and an angel was showing me around. We walked side-by-side inside a large workroom filled with angels. My angel guide stopped in front of the first section and said, "This is the Receiving Section. Here, all petitions to God said in prayer are received." I looked around in this area, and it was terribly busy with so many angels sorting out petitions written on voluminous paper sheets and scraps from people all over the world. Then we moved on down a long corridor until we reached the second section. The angel then said to me, "This is the Packaging and Delivery Section. Here, the graces and blessings the people asked for are processed and delivered to the living persons who asked for them." I noticed again how busy it was there. There were many angels working hard at that station, since so many blessings had been ......

Berbunyi pahat kerana penukul, Berbunyi mulut kerana hak kami.
