Let me first say that I am a young Bruneian woman and proud. I'm unemployed, but not ashamed. I'm one of at least eight young women who was sacked from my job at the airport, supposedly for theft. I'm not a thief nor were all the other young women sacked. There is a belief that young Bruneians simply will not work, that they display no work ethic. I personally loved my job at the airport selling beautiful perfume giftware and thought I did the right thing. I will not name my employers, its not the right thing to do. To blame us for theft is also not the right thing to do. Just because the owners are so called "well respected" we cannot complain to anyone. The foreign owners were very nice and looked after us. I now understand that many, many $000's of stock is missing and that they believe ......
